Asst. Finance Officer/Clerk - Town of Haw River, North Carolina, pop. 2,385. The

Town of Haw River is a full service town. Responsibilities include assisting Town

Manager with planning, organizing & directing all financial mgmt. functions including

accounting, general ledger, payroll, financial reporting, AP, AR, & debt mgmt. Position

also serves as the Town Clerk. Work to include extensive knowledge of the principles

and practices of public finance administration including governmental accounting.

Desirable education and experience: A degree in accounting & three years of

experience or equivalent combination. Successful canidate must possess strong

interpersonal & team-building skills as well as strong problem solving & analytical abilities.
