| Pickup Date Changes - Thursday, February 07, 2013Date Change for Brush/Yard Waste Pickup and Heavy Trash Collection!!!
Effective April 1st 2013 the date for Brush/ Yard Waste Pickup and Heavy Trash Collection will change. The new day for Brush/Yard Waste Pickup will be Mondays. This is a change from Thursday.
Heavy Trash Collection will now be on the first Tuesday of the month rather than the second Tuesday of the Month.
To recap Brush/Yard Waste Pickup will move to Monday’s starting April 1st. Heavy Trash Collection will move to the first Tuesday of the month starting in April.

The Mayor, Town Council, and Town Staff recognize that keeping the Town clean is a great part of attracting visitors and economic development to our community. Ensuring a sustainable future for the Town of Haw River is one of the reasons why the Mayor, Town Council, and Town Staff are initiating a Community Cleanup Program.
The Town of Haw River wishes to encourage our citizens to take an active role in the beautification and cleanup of our home Town.

New Gazebo at Redslide Park
The Haw River Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank Brian Stanley for his hard work in constructing the new gazebo at Redslide Park. The gazebo was donated to the Town of Haw River by Brian Stanley as his Eagle Scout Project. He is a member of Troop 182. The Town would also like to thank Lowes Home Improvement, Keith & Sheila Stanley and Connie & Carolyn Wheeley for their donation of resources and materials for the project.
Commissioned in November, 2010.
